Chris Harris is the proprietor of In a Crystal Garden, and works alongside her partner Dave on Ye Gentyllmanly Cooke.

15 years of working in the NHS have given Chris a thorough grounding in conventional western medical health theory, which her extensive studies in non-conventional. complimentary, shamanic and esoteric theories have certainly expanded! She believes that our return to the ancient ways of healing is a reconnection to our physical and spiritual roots which have been stretched to the limit in recent times, and for many reasons – social, political, economical and environmental. Our search for the true meaning of health and well-being in this age of stress, anxiety and dis-ease is just beginning, and it is time to reclaim the essentially intuitive skills and traditions of our ancestors to help us on our journey towards healing, integration and enlightenment.

Each of the therapies offered by In a Crystal Garden work at the interface of the physical and the energetic in order to initiate the healing process for the client on a variety of levels: the only difference is in the approach. For clients who prefer non-physical techniques, energywork therapies can bring help and relief while working entirely off the body. For clients who would simply like a physical workout, the bodywork techniques offered can do that too.

Chris is forever grateful to Gaia our Earth Mother for her guidance and support in this time of incredible change and transformation, and in Her honour commits to being the best she can be in all she does. She hopes her commitment will be of assistance to others as they journey forward on their voyages of discovery.

Finally: the crystal garden is real - a small patch of healing serenity in the depths of Surrey, England. Here the Universal Consciousness and the material world meet in a magical mix of trees and flowers, accompanied by a wide assortment of birds, animals and insects. All cultivation and animal husbandry is done with the utmost care and reverence for Gaia, Earth Mother, and due respect is paid to all species with whom we share our space. Without them our existence on this planet would have no meaning.

The garden inspires, informs and guides all the therapies offered here.
